Footwear - Test methods for uppers, lining and insocks - Colour fastness to rubbing

1.1 This standard specifies two test methods (method A and method B) for assessing the degree of damage (marring) and transfer of a material's surface colour during mild dry or wet abrasion. The methods are applicable to all footwear upper, lining and insock irrespective of the material, in order to assess the suitability for the end use.
1.2 This standard also specifies a method (method C) for determining the likelihood of colour bleeding from materials and components such as sewing threads and shoe laces due to the action of water and artificial perspiration solutions, in order to assess the suitability for the end use.

Schuhe - Prüfverfahren für Obermaterialien, Futter und Decksohlen - Farbechtheit bei Abrieb

1.1   In dieser Norm werden zwei Prüfverfahren (Verfahren A und Verfahren B) festgelegt, die bei einer Beanspruchung durch leichtes Trocken- oder Nass-Reiben den Grad der Farbbeeinträchtigung (Farbechtheit) und des Abfärbens einer Materialoberfläche bewerten. Die Verfahren sind auf alle Obermaterialien, Futtermaterialien und Decksohlen unabhängig vom Werkstoff anwendbar, um ihre Gebrauchseigenschaften im fertigen Zustand zu bestimmen.
1.2   Außerdem wird in dieser Norm ein Verfahren (Verfahren C) festgelegt, mit dessen Hilfe bei einer Beanspruchung durch Wasser und künstliche Schweißlösungen die Wahrscheinlichkeit des Ausblutens von Werkstoffen und Schuhzubehör, z. B. von Nähgarn und Schnürsenkeln, bestimmt werden kann, um ihre Eignung für den Gebrauch zu beurteilen.

Chaussures - Méthodes d'essai des tiges, de la doublure et des garnitures intérieures - Stabilité de la couleur au frottement

1.1   La présente norme spécifie deux méthodes d'essai (méthode A et méthode B) permettant d'évaluer le degré de détérioration (maculation) et le transfert de la couleur de la surface d'un matériau lors d'une abrasion modérée à l'état sec ou mouillé. Ces méthodes sont applicables à toutes les tiges, doublures et garnitures intérieures de chaussures, quel que soit le matériau qui les compose afin d'évaluer si elles conviennent à l'utilisation finale.
1.2   La présente norme spécifie également à méthode (méthode C) permettant de déterminer la probabilité d'exsudation de la couleur de matériaux et composants tels que les fils de couture et les lacets de chaussures due à l'action de l'eau et de solutions de transpiration artificielle, afin d'évaluer si elles conviennent à l'utilisation finale.

EN 13516:2001 (E)54 Apparatus and materialThe following apparatus and material shall be used:4.1 Method A4.1.1Test machine with the following:4.1.1.1Flat horizontal metal platform of minimum dimensions 80 mm
25 mm.4.1.1.2Means of moving the platform in a direction parallel to its 80 mm edges through distance of 35 mm ± 2mm and back again at a rate of 40 cycles/min ± 2 cycles/min.4.1.1.3Pair of clamps positioned at the ends of the platform at 90° to the 80 mm edges and which aredesigned to clamp the test specimen against the platform. The clamp faces shall be a minimum distance of 80 mmapart.4.1.1.4Means of moving the clamps apart so that the test specimen is extended linearly by an amountadjustable up to 20 %.4.1.1.5Rubbing finger with a flat horizontal lower surface capable of holding a square felt pad (4.1.2). Formachines with a platform wider than 25 mm the relative position of the rubbing finger shall be adjustable across thewidth of the platform.4.1.1.6Means of holding a square felt pad (4.1.2) on the lower surface of the finger.4.1.1.7Means of applying a downward force of 4,9 N
