This document specifies requirements for technologies that enable on-site detection and quantification of Legionella spp. and L. pneumophila using a quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay (qPCR). It specifies general methodological requirements, performance evaluation requirements and quality control requirements. This document is intended to be used by manufacturers of these technologies so that they produce detection systems that end users may operate safely and effectively. End users will be guided by this document to adhere to manufacturer’s instructions, ensure user competency and perform the necessary controls. NOTE 1 For the responsibilities of the manufacturer and the end users see Annex A. Technical details specified in this document are given for information only. Any other technical solutions complying with the performance requirements are suitable. NOTE 2 For validation and performance requirements, see Clause 9. This document is intended to be applied in the bacteriological investigation of all types of water (hot or cold water, cooling tower water, etc.), unless the nature and/or content of suspended matter and/or background microorganisms interfere with the determination. This interference can result in an adverse effect on both the detection limit and the quantification limit. The results are expressed as the number of genome units of Legionella spp. and/or L. pneumophila per millilitre (or litre) of sample. Although the method described in this document is applicable to all types of water, some additives, such as chemicals used for water treatment, can interfere with and/or affect the sensitivity of the method. The qPCR methods do not give any information about the physiological state of the Legionella. However, there are on-site qPCR methodologies which are able to distinguish intact bacteria from free DNA. In such cases, validation of the method shall include satisfying this performance requirement.

ISO 15765-2:2016 specifies a transport protocol and network layer services tailored to meet the requirements of CAN‑based vehicle network systems on controller area networks as specified in ISO 11898‑1. It has been defined in accordance with the diagnostic services established in ISO 14229‑1 and ISO 15031‑5 but is not limited to use with them and is also compatible with most other communication needs for in‑vehicle networks. ISO 11898‑1 specifies variable length CAN frames with a maximum payload size dependent on the protocol device used. A CLASSICAL CAN protocol device can transmit/receive frames with payload sizes ranging from 0 bytes to 8 bytes per frame. A CAN FD (flexible data rate) protocol device can transmit/receive frames with payload sizes from 0 bytes to 64 bytes. A CAN FD protocol device is also capable of transmitting/receiving CLASSICAL CAN frames. The diagnostic communication over controller area network (DoCAN) protocol supports the standardized service primitive interface as specified in ISO 14229‑2 (UDS). ISO 15765-2:2016 provides the transport protocol and network layer services to support different application-layer implementations such as - enhanced vehicle diagnostics (emissions-related system diagnostics beyond legislated functionality, non-emissions-related system diagnostics), - emissions-related on-board diagnostics (OBD) as specified in ISO 15031, - world-wide harmonized on-board diagnostics (WWH-OBD) as specified in ISO 27145, and - end of life activation on on-board pyrotechnic devices (ISO 26021). The transport protocol specifies an unconfirmed communication. NOTE This part of ISO 15765 does not determine whether CLASSICAL CAN, CAN FD or both are recommended or required to be implemented by other standards referencing this part of ISO 15765.

This document specifies how to extend the ISO 32000-2 specification by adding the ISO/IEC 12113 (glTF) format as a valid format for 3D artworks contained in a RichMedia annotation. It is intended for: • developers of software that creates PDF files (PDF writers); • software that reads existing PDF files and usually interprets their contents for display (PDF readers); • software that reads and displays PDF content and interacts with the computer users to possibly modify and save the PDF file (PDF processors); • PDF products that read and/or write PDF files for a variety of other purposes (PDF processors). ISO 5832-1:2016 specifies the characteristics of, and corresponding test methods for, wrought stainless steel for use in the manufacture of surgical implants. NOTE 1 The mechanical properties of a sample obtained from a finished product made of this alloy can differ from those specified in this part of ISO 5832. NOTE 2 The alloy described in this part of ISO 5832 corresponds to UNS S31673 referred to in ASTM F138/ASTM F139 and to alloy code 1.4441 given in the withdrawn DIN 17443.

The scope is now the following: This Standard specifies requirements and guidelines for the design, manufacture, installation, function, performance, maintenance, servicing, documentation, testing, and commissioning of equipment for evacuation of plume generated by medical devices. Specifically, this document provides — a “Controlled Zone Data Dictionary” (CZDD) for management of controlled zones providing an extendible toolkit that regulators can use e.g. to inform potential CZ users, e.g. vehicles, about — the CZ area, i.e. the geographical boundaries of the CZ; — CZ access conditions including exempts; — time windows indicating when these CZ access conditions are applicable, allowing the potential CZ users to select an appropriate routing, either by pre-trip planning or ad hoc re-routing, — and illustrations and guidelines on how to use this toolkit. This document provides guidelines and requirements for designing and conducting an evaluation of single-use adult incontinence absorbing products. It provides guidelines and requirements on creating data collection tools. In particular, it provides a framework for eliciting and recording the views of users and their carers on the acceptability of products. In addition, a product diary is described which can help to quantify some parameters of product use, such as wear times, the mass of urine absorbed by the product and the severity of any leakage from it. This document does not cover direct comparison between products based on statistical parameters, neither does it provide guidelines on measuring the clinical efficacy of products; that is available in ISO 14155.

The document: a) provides methods for identifying and documenting risks related to records, records processes, controls and systems (records risks); b) provides techniques for analysing records risks; c) provides guidelines for conducting an evaluation of records risks. This document intends to assist organizations in assessing records risks so they can ensure records continue to meet identified business needs as long as required. This document describes a method for sampling and analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including siloxanes, terpenes, organic sulfur compounds, in natural gas and biomethane matrices, using thermal desorption gas chromatography with flame ionization and/or mass spectrometry detectors (TD-GC-FID/MS).

This document describes methods of evaluating the resistance of vulcanized and thermoplastic rubbers to the action of liquids by measurement of properties of the rubbers before and after immersion in test liquids. The liquids concerned include current service liquids, such as petroleum derivatives, organic solvents and chemical reagents, as well as reference test liquids.

This document specifies the principles of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and provides general requirements for the use of this technique to determine elements in water, digests of sludges and sediments (e.g. digests of water as described in ISO 15587-1 or ISO 15587-2). Generally, the measurement is carried out in water, but gases, vapours or fine particulate matter can be introduced too. This document applies to the use of ICP-MS for aqueous solution analysis. The ultimate determination of the elements is described in a separate International Standard for each series of elements and matrix. The individual clauses of this document refer the user to these guidelines for the basic principles of the method and the configuration of the instrument.

This document describes the general procedure for measuring the diffuse radiance factor of all types of pulp, paper and board. More particularly, it specifies in detail the procedures to be used for calibrating the equipment, and in Annex A, the characteristics of the equipment to be used for such measurements. This document can be used to measure the diffuse radiance factors and related properties of materials containing fluorescent whitening agents, provided that the UV-content of the instrument illumination has been adjusted to give the same level of fluorescence as a fluorescent reference standard for a selected CIE illuminant, according to the International Standard describing the measurement of the property in question. This document specifies a method of determining the moisture content of a test sample of solid biofuels by drying in an oven and is used when the highest precision is not needed, e.g. for routine production control on site. The method described in this document is applicable to all solid biofuels. The moisture content of solid biofuels (as received) is always reported based on the total mass of the test sample (wet basis). NOTE Biomass materials can contain small amounts of volatile organic compounds (VOC) which can evaporate when determining moisture content by oven drying (see References [1] and [2]). The release of such compounds is quite small relative to the overall moisture content as determined by this method and is disregarded in this document.

The set of AT Attachment standards consists of this standard and the ATA implementation standards described in AT Attachment - 8 ATA/ATAPI Architecture Model (ATA8-AAM). This standard specifies the command set that host systems use to access storage devices. This standard provides a common command set for systems manufacturers, system integrators, software suppliers, and suppliers of intelligent storage devices. Figure 1 shows the relationship of this standard to other ATA standards as well as related device and host standards and specifications (e.g., SCSI standards and SATA-IO specifications). This standard maintains compatibility with the ACS-4 standard, INCITS 529-2018, while providing additional functions.

This document specifies a protocol for energy management agents (EMAs) to facilitate communications among these agents for demand response (DR) energy management applications. The EMA protocol (EMAP) provides a logical connection among EMAs in community housing such as an apartment building or a campus of houses or apartment buildings. This document also specifies interaction procedures and message formats for DR energy management as introduced in ISO/IEC 15067-3-3. The EMAP supports interactions among EMAs at OSI (Open System Interconnection) layer 7 with a message transfer protocol. An EMA can be embedded in devices such as a thermostat, a smart appliance, or other consumer products. The choice of interconnection depends on the system and the network topology, which can be arranged in a mesh or hierarchical tree structure. An intermediate EMA may relay messages sent between EMAs.

This document specifies functional requirements and reference interfaces for interconnected energy management agents (EMAs) based on the model for an EMA specified in ISO/IEC 15067-3 and the model for multiple interacting EMAs specified in ISO/IEC 15067-3-3. This specification supports energy management by facilitating interactions and information exchange among EMAs and appliances, consumer electronics, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, water heaters, distributed energy resources (DERs), electric vehicle (EV) chargers, and other loads supplied by public and local power sources in a house or an apartment complex. Local power sources can use DER, which can include, but are not limited to, wind turbines, solar panels, and storage (stationary and mobile). EMAs specified with these functions and interfaces can assist the consumer in responding to price-varying public power and buying or selling transactive energy (TE). This document specifies framework methods for EMAs to co-ordinate the delivery of energy management applications, and the reference interfaces facilitate a communications protocol among interacting EMAs. These linked and interacting EMAs provide energy optimization and conservation within constraints such as a consumer's financial budget and goals for greenhouse gas reduction, while supporting programmes as diverse as TE and demand response (DR).
