This document provides packages of security assurance and security functional requirements that have been identified as useful in support of common usage by stakeholders.
EXAMPLE Examples of provided packages include the evaluation assurance levels (EAL) and the composed assurance packages (CAPs).

Dieses Dokument enthält Pakete von Vertrauenswürdigkeits- und Sicherheitsfunktionsanforderungen, die als zweckmäßig zur Unterstützung der gemeinsamen Nutzung durch die interessierten Parteien identifiziert wor
den sind.
BEISPIEL Beispiele für bereitgestellte Pakete umfassen die Vertrauenswürdigkeitsstufen(EAL-Stufen) und die zusam
mengesetzten Vertrauenswürdigkeitspakete(CAP).
Dieses Dokument zeigt Folgendes:
- Familie von Paketen für Vertrauenswürdigkeitsstufen(EAL), die vordefinierte Sätze von Vertrauens- würdigkeitskomponenten festlegen, auf die in den PP und ST verwiesen werden darf und die geeignete, während einer Evaluierung eines Evaluierungsgegenstands(TOE) zu erbringende Vertrauenswürdigkeiten spezifizieren;
- Familie von zusammengesetzten Vertrauenswürdigkeitspaketen(CAP), die Sätze von Vertrauens- würdigkeitskomponenten spezifizieren, die zur Spezifikation geeigneter, während einer Evaluierung zusammengesetzter TOE zu erbringender Sicherheitszusicherungen verwendet werden;
- Paket aus einem Verbundprodukt(COMP), das einen Satz von Vertrauenswürdigkeitskomponenten festlegt. Diese müssen zur Spezifikation geeigneter Vertrauenswürdigkeiten verwendet werden und während einer Evaluierung eines aus einem Verbundprodukt bestehenden TOE bereitgestellt werden;
- Paketfamilie von Schutzprofilzusicherungen(PPA), die Sätze von Vertrauenswürdigkeitskomponenten spe
zifizieren, die zur Spezifikation geeigneter, während einer Schutzprofilevaluierung zu erbringender
trauenswürdigkeiten verwendet werden;
- Paketfamilie von Sicherheitsvorgabezusicherungen(STA), die Sätze von Vertrauenswürdigkeits- komponenten spezifizieren, die zur Spezifikation geeigneter Vertrauenswürdigkeiten verwendet werden und während einer Evaluierung der Sicherheitsvorgaben zu erbringen sind.
Zu den Benutzern dieses Dokuments können Verbraucher, Entwickler und Evaluatoren von sicheren IT-Pro
dukten gehören.

The text of ISO/IEC 15408-5:2022 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/IEC JTC 1
"Information technology” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been
taken over as EN ISO/IEC 15408-5:2023 by Technical Committee CEN-CENELEC/ JTC 13 “Cybersecurity
and Data Protection” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2024, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by June 2024.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN-CENELEC shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
Any feedback and questions on this document should be directed to the users’ national standards body.
